Beereratne Brewing & Blending is a one-man brewing operation from the Dandenong Ranges that started in December 2023. Each batch is lovingly handmade - from the recipe to the brewing, the can design to the outer packaging - all elements are designed and made by me, Ben Weereratne (hence B’eereratne)

A new Beereratne beer comes out at the start of each season and always explores a new style, a traditional technique or is an experiment with a new ingredient or product - all with some unique twist that only a tiny brewery like this could achieve.

Until recently, I was a professional brewer working at a small independent brewery and this was just a little passion project of mine. But after an amazing first year of making and selling my own beer, I was inspired to commit entirely. Beereratne in 2025 will double production (still, only about 12,000L) by branching out and brewing at handful of Victorian breweries. But we will maintain the same attention to detail and curiosity to experiment as we have with all our previous beers.

I’m not exactly sure where this brewing project will head next, but the opportunities are exciting and I can’t wait to find out.
